Gold Motel, the side project of Greta from The Hush Sound, has a bunch of really good songs (last week, ATS wrote about “Leave You in Love” here).
“Perfect in My Mind” is also a strong offering from Gold Motel. The lyrics in the second verse are eerily fitting (or rather perfect) for this upcoming weekend’s Hurricane Irene:
“The flood runs through the canyons in New York City/I know when the hurricane comes, it’s coming for me.”
