I just discovered this video of Sharon Van Etten playing a solo, guitar-only version of “Love More,” back when it was still a new song.
It’s great to get a glimpse into the beginnings of a song, stripped down to its bare foundation:
Wussy’s Funeral Dress II is a collection of acoustic versions of the songs on Funeral Dress.
If you like the original “Motorcycle,” this acoustic version of the song (it still has percussion) is definitely worth having too. Its more vulnerable vocal plus the more discernible bass differentiates the song from the original.

It sounds like a different song — I can listen back-to-back to the studio version and this acoustic version without it feeling repetitive.
