NYC Popfest and ACL Music Festival

Two upcoming festivals should be on your radar — both have great line-ups.

NYC Popfest 2013 is happening May 30th to June 2nd in Manhattan and Brooklyn venues. The best show looks like Saturday June 1st at Spike Hill. It’s a free show headlined by The Ballet.

ACL Music Festival 2013 is October 4th-6th and October 11th-13th in Austin, Texas. The line-up includes The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, Silversun Pickups, The Joy Formidable, Dawes, Haim, Smith Westerns, Noah & The Whale, Lissie, and Dana Falconberry.

Isle of Wright, the music festival on the English island, is happening June 13-16th 2013.

Sunset Junction 2011 Line Up

Here are a few bands scheduled to perform at this year’s Sunset Junction, on August 27-28 in Los Angeles:

Coachella Line-Up 2011

Coachella announced its line-up of bands today.

Not-to-miss bands include Brandon Flowers, Warpaint, The Swell Season, Thao with the Get Down Stay Down, Empire of the Sun, Bright Eyes, Best Coast, Ellie Goulding, The Strokes and Jenny and Johnny.

Celebrate Brooklyn 2010 Line-Up

Celebrate Brooklyn! is putting on free, outdoor concerts this summer in Prospect Park.

Norah Jones played the opening night show a few days ago, and some highlights of the line-up include The Swell Season (July 30), Sonic Youth (July 31), Holly Miranda (August 5), and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings (August 7).
