Concert Recap: The Like & The Young Veins
Memorial Day (Monday May 31, 2010), The Young Veins and The Like played at The Echo in LA (Night 4 of 4 of The Like’s May residency).
Har Mar Superstar, Alex Greenwald, and Morgan Nagler of The Whispertown 2000 were in attendance. Why were these shows at the Echo free? They definitely should not have been free, in After The Show’s opinion.
The Like appear in the latest issue of Teen Vogue (see photo below), and started their US tour last night. They play in NY on June 8th.
After The Show recorded “Change” by The Young Veins and “Catch Me If You Can” by The Like from the Echo:

On Sunday May 23, The Like headlined the Silverlake Jubilee Festival.
The band played songs from their new album Release Me, out June 15. Ryan Ross and Taylor Locke were spotted watching The Like’s set. Photos and videos from the show:
For the third night of The Like’s Monday night May residency at the Echo, they played songs like “Release Me,” “Fair Game,” He’s Not A Boy,” “In The End,” “Shhh,” “Catch Me If You Can,” and “Narcissus In A Red Dress.”
Sadly, they did not play “I Can See It In Your Eyes” either at the Silverlake Jubilee or at the Echo the next night. Alex Greenwald sat by the side of the stage at the Echo show, and Taylor Locke watched the show from the audience.
